What you?ll doAs a Junior Demand Planner, you will Update and maintain sales forecasts for assigned customers and/or product classes, using tools such as Belkin sell to, customer sell through, and forecast consumption. Research and analyze customer fill rates. Through proactive means find ways that will avoid future shortages without increasing inventory. Maintain ongoing communication with Sales, Purchasing, Product Managements, Warehouses, and other internal departments. Support Buyer Incentive Program goals relating to low part shortages, high inventory turns, low airfreight expense, high cost savings and avoidance, and strong customer responsiveness. Assist Manager of Forecasting and Planning in the undertaking of additional assignments.
How you?ll do it
Maintain forecasts for assigned customers, and/or product classes.
Generate reports and evaluate data, including Belkin AMD by part and/or by Customer, customer sell through, forecast consumption, sudden demand increase/decrease, safety stock review, and order fill rate.
Research forecast discrepancies.
Review and update event information forecasted on a continual basis.
Respond to status reports and shortage inquiries.
Analyze shortage and excess reports, and work with Manager of Forecasting and Planning in making proactive recommendations to avoid or reduce occurrences.
Through effective communication, coordinate with Sales, Product Management, and Buyers to plan for promotional and everyday needs of product.
What you?ll need
Bachelor degree in Business curriculum, or equivalent experience.
Inventory Control and Planning experience.
Detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Exceptional computer literacy, especially Excel, and effective communication skills.
Effective communication skills.
Understanding of Accounting and Finance principles.
Oracle experience a ?plus?

Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001, understand and fully support ISO system.
