Junior Designer Eventful

Company Description:

Eventful is the leading online service for discovering, sharing, promoting and creating local events throughout the world.

We are looking for a Junior Designer who will bring an innovative, creative and disciplined approach to designing consumer focused online, mobile and email based products.
Responsibilities:

Design onsite, email and mobile elements based on product specifications and wireframes to achieve specified business goals
Work with marketing and sales teams to conceptualize and develop innovative collateral
Create custom designs for social media campaigns around music, movies and broadcast television with top-tier entertainment partners
Collaborate with product team to explore and develop new product ideas

Qualifications:

Internship experience or 1-2 years professional design experience is required
Excellent foundation of design fundamentals and typography
Web design experience a plus
Familiarity with HTML and CSS a plus

Intermediate Photoshop and Illustrator skills
Competent with Mac OSX

Education/Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or tech/trade school equivalent
