Junior Designer Socialtext
Our UI/UX team is growing! Be part of a winning team that transforms how organizations collaborate internally and externally.Socialtext is seeking a Junior Designer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team on a full time basis. The junior candidate will support the Design Team by bringing ideas and concepts to life through wire framing, mockups and interactive prototypes.
You need to be:
A self-motivated, optimistic team player with high levels of energy and a passion for all things digital and interactive.
Open, honest, direct and comfortable in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
Able to perform well under pressure and prepared to put in the hours when a project requires it.
Able to commute to Palo Alto.
Key responsibilities include:
Helping define the user interface, user scenarios and screen flows for new and existing products and features to produce an engaging web/mobile experience.
Developing high level and/or detailed storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Production of pixel perfect UI elements for deployment to development teams.
Helping the team to ensure that all work is delivered on time and to the highest level possible.
Skills:
Adobe Creative Suite, Wireframing experience, CSS, HTML5
