Description:We are seeking an experienced developer to join our tech team. The ideal candidate will have strong Perl skills, but we are also open to candidates withexperience in other interpreted, dynamically-typed, object oriented languages like Ruby and Python.

Desired Skills & Experience

Required Skills:

A solid understanding of the architecture of a high volume web application, including familiarity with accelerator cache, load balancer, application server and database technologies. Experience with a Linux, Apache, MySQL and Perl based system is ideal.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS, Ajax webservices, XML and other common web technologies.
Ability to install and configureservices, as well as diagnose and correct problems, in a Linux environment.
Strong object oriented design andrelational database design skills. Familiarity with Object-Relational-Mapping tools.
Must be comfortable using version control, issue tracking and automated build, test and deployment tools.

Desired Skills:

Apache/modperl, HTML::Mason, DBI
Java, Spring, JAX/WS, JMS, Hibernate,OSGi
Flex/ActionScript, JavaScript
Varnish Control Language
Experience on an Agile team, or with a similar modern process
Experience working with stakeholders in a consulting or professional services environment.
