Summary:
Analyzes general INFOSEC - related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
Qualification Requirements:
Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Information Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline.
Experience:
0 ? 4 years of experience in defining computer security requirements for high level applications, evaluation of approved security products capabilities, and developing solutions computer security problems.
Skills:
Experience or knowledge of INFOSEC-related technical problems and solutions.
Soft Skills:
Good communication skills
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Licensures, Certifications:
Certification might be required, depending on program requirements.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Configures test beds and conducts testing, records and analyzes results, and provides recommendations for improvements for the products/systems under test.
Areas of focus include Guard, Firewall, Secure Network Server, PCMCIA format security solutions, ?Smart Cards?, and emerging technologies and future trends.
Supports the integration of INFOSEC solutions and technologies into networks with particular attention to protocols, interfaces, and system design.

Daily meetings with customer and project team.

Sitting in front of a computer on a daily basis
Working Conditions:
