Junior-Level Software Engineer MeetingOne
MeetingOne is seeking a Junior-level Software Engineer to join its in-house development team and to participate in the design and creation of advanced audio conferencing products.

Specific duties and responsibilities
Participate in the development and maintenance of new and existing applications consisting of both internal and customer-facing client interfaces, including but not limited to internal billing application, core audio conferencing products, API development and distributed systems development
Participate in the design of new products.
Assist QA department in developing test plans and test cases.
Maintain existing source code control repositories.
Participate in documentation of new and existing systems.
Be available 24x7 for emergencies.
Troubleshoot issues and problems from internal and external clients.
Learn the ins and outs of the Teleconferencing Industry and become an integral part of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relationships with internal and external clients.
Be able to work in a team setting as well as individually.
Personally motivated to excel and ability to self-educate as needed.
Object-oriented design and development experience.
Core Java web client development (preferably Echo, Faces, JSP, or similar frameworks).
Experience with MySQL, Microsoft SQL and JDBC.
Development experience using web services from the consumer side.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and web site design.
Netbeans and/or Eclipse Java IDE.
Subversion source control use.
Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
Experience with VOIP / SIP and / or some telecoms knowledge.
Experience with Flex is desired but not required.
Knowledge of object caching systems would be a plus.
Experience as an intern in a similar role would be a plus
