The IS team is responsible for the administration of all servers, networks, and databases in multiple data centers and public clouds. The team oversees information security across the technology spectrum. This position will be involved in the day-to-day administration, diagnostics and troubleshooting of IS resources and new IS projects.

Support level 1: daily support, helpdesk tickets, monitoring, maintenance and administration of various systems such as: server backups and troubleshooting, checking error logs and the escalation or reporting of critical issues to senior administrators
Configure and test servers, networking software and operating systems
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
Conduct technical research on recurring issues and problems and present solutions to the team
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information sciences, or related field
Prior Systems Administration experience
Working knowledge of shell or Perl scripting
Experience working with a wide range of diagnostic utilities
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills, and a keen attention to detail
Strong documentation skills and the ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service orientation in a team-based, collaborative environment
Experience with any of the following is helpful:
Linux, Red Hat, CentOS
DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, LDAP, Apache, SSL, SMTP
Perl and shell scripting
MySQL or other RDBMS administration experience
VMWare, KVM, Xen
