Junior Sales Executive - Trade Xpress TradeCard

We seek a junior sales executive from the supply chain, SaaS/Cloud or ERP arenas with proven expertise in selling strategic, value-based solutions to small and mid-size companies. TradeCard, Inc. is a cloud-based platform used by world class brands and retailers and their suppliers to streamline transaction flow from purchase order through production tracking, shipment and payment. Financial services offered by third party financial institutions on the Platform reduce trade financing costs and mitigate credit risk for suppliers. This position is based in New York.
Responsibilities:
Represent and sell cloud-based supply chain collaboration solutions at the ?C? level, as well as to top executives in supply chain, commercial management, finance, sales, and IT departments to suppliers in Mexico, Central and South America, the United States and Canada
Drive increased adoption and penetration of financial services across our global supplier-base
Identify potential up-sell opportunities of products from within our trading partner product suite (Financial Services, Integration Services, Buyer Referrals, Trade Xpress?)
Report directly to the Vice President of Global Sales, Americas and Europe
Requirements:
Coursework in supply chain management and/or a Bachelor?s degree with 2-3 years sales success in the supply chain, B2B and/or ERP arenas
Experience calling on ?C? level executives in the area of sales, logistics, finance, distribution, purchasing, manufacturing, and supply chain management (retail, footwear, and apparel verticals are a +)
Ability to develop and articulate the maximum value proposition, as well to negotiate the most favorable pricing and business terms possible
Familiarity in Financial/Accounting industry practices is a plus or strong comfort level and success in selling to the finance side of a company, including the CFO
Ability to work well in a team environment
Experience in emerging markets a plus
Willingness and flexibility to travel are essential
Accustomed to working in fast-paced entrepreneurial businesses
Strong written and verbal communication skills a must, and multilingual in the following languages ? English and Spanish. Fluency in other European languages will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently
Knowledge in the following areas:
International Trade Operations, Trade Finance, Trade Incoterms
Supply Chain Management experience
Corporate or international procurement experience
Familiarity with ?software as a services? (SaaS) environments
Must be willing to travel
