Junior Software Engineer Utopy
Job DescriptionUtopy is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team. Our product is award winning, and our customers are Fortune 500 leaders in their respective industries. We develop enterprise scale, parallel processing systems, backed by SQL Server and modern indexing tools. With state of the art web interface and report engine to drive results to our users.
As part of the UTOPY team you will install and integrate the SpeechMiner platform at our customers and hosted sites. Each separate integration is a challenge which lets you express your full range of creativity and skill. You will develop customized solutions and handle engineering level support including troubleshooting and debugging customer issues.
In addition you will develop software modules and features for our analytics enterprise products.
Our small team size enables each team member to express himself and take responsibilities in many different areas. You dont have to be a part of a department. You can be the department
This is the perfect opportunity for an engineer fresh out of school to get real world experience in enterprise software environment.
Our development and deployment environment is MS Server based, with .NET and ASP.NET as the main framework, backed by SQL Server and MS Reporting Server.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Must have BS in Computer Science.
.NET background (C or VB.NET).
MS-SQL working knowledge.
OOP development experience.
ASP.NET, IIS, HTML, AJAX experience is a plus.
Microsoft reporting services (SSRS) knowledge is a plus.
Windows System Administration knowledge is a plus.
Willingness travel domestically and internationally, up to 10 of the time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
