We are looking for a Junior Technical Analyst who will be responsible for assisting with the operation of the Lotame Service Desk and directly supporting Client Activation and Success teams from our Maryland office. This is a full time position, integral to the smooth operation and growth of the Lotame business. Responsibilities:
Monitor, identify, troubleshoot and document inbound service requests or issues affecting Crowd Control?, Lotame employees and clients.
Enter, track and report on service tickets using ZenDesk and Atlassian JIRA
Use Crowd Control? to test bugs, releases, client requests and other troubleshooting as needed
Liaison between Data Solutions and Technology to document feature requests and handle escalations to dedicated service tiers
Use SQL / MySQL to analyze data within the Crowd Control database for reporting, testing and troubleshooting.
Use SSH, Bash and command-line UNIX to review server logs for troubleshooting
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
5+ years professional experience supporting web based applications within Microsoft and Unix based software/hardware platforms
Bachelors? Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or related concentrations)
Intermediate proficiency with HTML, Javascript and MySQL/SQL, UNIX/Linux, Apache server logs and LAMP/WAMP implementations
Proven ability to think analytically and methodically with attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations and expressed desire and drive to advance personally and professionally
Extra Credit:
Previous web development experience or professional certifications in a related field (Net+, CCNA, MCSA/DST/TA etc.)
Experience using Putty, OpenVPN, Pentaho Reporting and Chrystal Semantics
MAC OS experience and general familiarity with MAC systems
Familiarity troubleshooting web based applications using Firebug and Chrome Developer tools
