Junior Technical Consultant MCA Solutions
MCA Solutions is seeking entry level and mid level Technical Consultants. Successful candidates will have technical skills in Java, PL/SQL, Oracle, and UNIX scripting along with customer handling skills.
The primary job responsibilities include installing, configuring, and integrating MCA application software for service parts planning (inventory forecasting, planning, and optimization).

Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities :
Consult with customers to provide technical knowledge and guidance assisting them in designing, building and optimizing their MCA Solutions Service Parts Optimization architecture and integration.
In conjunction with colleagues and clients, ensure solution requirements are satisfied through successful implementation and execution of the solution plan. Support installing and setup of clients technical environment.
Develop Integration code specific to the client implementation using combinations of Unix scripts, PL/SQL etc
Develop (design, code, test) custom code to meet customer specific requirements
Provide guidance to client team on data model development and manipulation.
While onsite, provide weekly status updates to the MCA Solutions Project Manager and Services Management on project progress with escalation of application integration issues as appropriate.
Proactive sharing and maintenance of the knowledge repository for the product architecture. Incorporate best practices into reusable deliverables to promote continuous improvements in client implementations.
Perform weekly mandatory administrative duties on time, including Time & Expense, Status Reports and active participation within internal Team Meetings.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Mathematics with CS concentration
Experience:
0-3 years experience - industry, Internship, or academic experience in designing, building, supporting and performance-tuning large-scale, high-volume planning systems.
Experienced with or exposure to the following: Oracle PL/SQL and SQL; MS Access; Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Application Servers (Tomcat, Weblogic), Oracle database technical skills. Java/C++ definite plus
Ability to understand physical & logical data models.
Testing experience / problem resolution / strong service/spare part data knowledge
Structured development experience (Software Engineering Project, Agile Development methodology etc)
