The Telerik team is growing and we are currently looking for a Junior Technical Consultant to join the Sitefinity CMS support team in Waltham, MA. As a member of the team you will be the link between customers and the other various product teams at Telerik. You will have the unique chance to learn and work with one of the most innovative .NET content management systems - Sitefinity.
If you were a part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week as a Junior Technical Consultant:
? Learned the Sitefinity CMS product and its integrated technologies
? Provided clients with samples for achieving specific use case scenarios with Sitefinity
? Resolved usability and development problems with the product via our on-line support ticket system, phone, and e-mail
? Actively collaborated with the product development teams, by providing client feedback, product requests, and addressing bugs in the product
? Consulted clients on best practices for development and extensibility of the product
? Generated technical materials ? Blog posts, KB articles, Developer Manual on the hot topics of interest for clients
? Researched competing products and produced insightful competitive information for the marketing team
You will be the person who has (a/an):
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or relevant field is preferred
? Some experience with web related technologies (preferably ASP.NET)
? Knowledge of C# /VB.NET
? Willingness to learn new technologies and a desire to improve technical skills
? Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and database management is a plus
? Excellent communication skills: listening, written and verbal
? Exceptional problem-solving skills
? Previous background in a technical customer-oriented job will be considered highly advantageous, but is not required
? Technical writing skills are a big plus, but are not required
? Strong work ethics and time management skills
? Down-to-earth, creative, driven and friendly personality
