Junior University Sales Recruiter Yelp
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We?ve built a solid University Recruiting program for our world-class sales team here at Yelp, but we?re looking to kick it up a notch. With your university relations expertise, you will help us coordinate with career centers, build relationships with professors, and partner with student groups to make Yelp a preferred employer at our targeted schools.

If this sounds like you, you?re probably a strategic thinker and doer with a plan. We want you to join our University Recruiting team to help find quality talent for our quickly growing sales team.
In this role, you will:
Plan and manage an annual strategy in each university within assigned territory.
Build a diverse candidate pool through campus recruitment activities, including career fairs, info sessions, student organization events, etc.
Own the whole recruiting process for candidates in assigned territories from initial contact to facilitating the onboarding process.
Propose and implement ongoing improvements to campus recruitment efforts.
Successfully partner with hiring managers and alumni to creatively hire.
Be a team player and work well with other team members to track team goals, metrics and pitch in when necessary.
Consistently embody the values of a Yelp ambassador when on campus or at a recruiting event.
Minimum of one year of experience in a recruiting role with an emphasis on campus recruiting, sales or equivalent experience
Bachelor?s Degree or three years of relevant recruiting experience
Experience with applicant tracking systems
Demonstrated experience executing a full-cycle recruiting process
Experience with recruiting for sales (or relevant position) in high volume
Proven organizational skills with ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate professionally, tactfully, and with diplomacy
Excellent written communication
Proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
Exceptional customer service focus combined with exemplary follow-through
Ability to think critically about situations that impact overall hiring goals
Highly motivated and self directed and possess high energy
Preferred experience with social media platforms
Proficiency with OSX and Google Docs
Travel Required (%): 50%
