BizBuySell, a CoStar Group Company, is looking for a Junior Web/Graphic Designer for our San Luis Obispo office to work on a full-time basis. As the Junior Web/Graphic Designer you will report to the Senior UI Designer and be instrumental in fulfilling BizBuySell's short and long-term UI design needs. BizBuySell seeks someone who is creative, articulate, and professional and possesses the ability to have a significant positive impact on the business. In this role you will assist the Senior UI Designer on graphic design/HTML needs for of our website UI and marketing materials. You will transform requirements into graphical designs and ?production ready? HTML. Design/HTML work will primarily be focused on BizBuySell.com but may also include work on our other sister sites: LandandFarm.com and BizQuest.comThe ideal candidate will have:
? 2+ years of professional experience hand-coding standards-compliant HTML/CSS
?2+ years of professional Graphic Design experience
?Familiarity with professional software development processes
?A portfolio website showing a strong understanding of design principles
?Experience with vector and raster design tools
?Understanding of browser rendering errata and workarounds
?Self-starter with entrepreneurial attitude
?Enjoys handling multiple projects and deadlines
?Effective communication and organizational skills
?Strong knowledge of UI ?best practices?/usability
?BA in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design and or Web Design preferred
