Job SummaryPing Identity?s web development team is looking for a junior web quality assurance engineer to ensure that our business processes are rock-solid and that our website user experience is the best that it can be. As an integral part of the web development team, this person will perform manual testing against technical and functional specifications, and will be responsible for managing our automated testing system. Testing will include front-end UI testing in a browser as well as back-end unit testing. Finally, the person in this role is expected to contribute to specifications, workflow documents, and user documentation.

Job Functions
Design and implement automated test scenarios for websites.
Maintain and support test automation system.
Write unit tests and functional tests for software releases.
Perform ad-hoc QA testing for software releases.
Write documentation on application processes.
Essential Qualifications
2+ years experience in web development environment.
Experience with automation test cases from the system level to the user interface.
Experience with unit testing and regression testing.
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Understanding of enterprise-scale systems and configurations related to security.
Knowledge of versioning software like Subversion and Mercurial, including trunks and branches.
Exceptional problem solving skills. Loves finding the best solution.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in an agile, iterative, or XP environments.
Work requires complex setups and configurations. An individual with IT admin experience on different platforms a plus.
Knowledge of automated build systems such as Ant or Hudson.
Knowledge of versioning software such as Subversion, Git, or Mercurial.
Automated testing systems such as Selenium or WebDriver.
