Knowledge Services Manager Aternity
Aternity is seeking a Knowledge Services Manager to lead product documentation for Aternity's customers, partners and internal staff. The Knowledge Services Manager will be the expert on the creation and presentation of technical training materials and work with product development, support and pre-sales to define these requirements. Located in Westborough, MA, the position will report to the Vice President of Client Services.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that appropriate product documentation exists for all stakeholders, i.e. Employees, Customers and Partners
Work with Product Management, Support, IS, Pre-sales, Customers & Partners to define documentation requirements
Develop processes to ensure timely updates to materials and incorporate feedback
Drive timely and targeted training to all teams and ensure accessibility of information
Drive collection of insights from SMEs and act as reference librarian
Develop and maintain some core content of the documentation and training programs, and deliver internal training
Develop and maintain a defined subset of the documentation and training programs
Develop templates, build and organize materials
Own and maintain the KBRs, e.g. Aternity Knowledge Repository & Support KB
Internal training for all teams; basic customer & partner usage training
Escalation point for ?knowledge-related? technical questions from customers and other teams
Core Requirements:
Expert on the creation, collection, management, communication and presentation of technical training materials, with a strong technical background in IT infrastructure management and media production ? especially video
Exposure to IT industry and standards
Experience with Windows Operating System, development experience a big plus
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, HTML, PHP, and other web technologies
Proven 2+ years of experience developing technical documents/specifications, including documenting new functionality and features
Experience with creation and editing of presentation slide decks and presentation videos
Proven 1+ year experience training technical teams of various sizes and skill levels
Ability to collaborate with enterprise IT customers on various technical challenges, actual client-facing technical consulting experience a big plus
Resourcefulness, persistence and self-drive to ?get things done? in fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate, express opinions as part of a team and drive projects
Self-directed work ethic and willingness to foster new ideas
Light travel possible
Other Skills:
VBScript experience
Database work and working knowledge of SQL
Experience with Wordpress
Ability to manage small projects
