Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Technical Operations of the main and hospital laboratories, in accordance with established policies and standards. Plays a lead role in the implementation of initiatives focused on enhanced performance, workflow redesign, and developing a culture that emphasizes excellence in the quality and delivery of laboratory services to inpatients, outpatients, and outreach clients.Establishes, implements, updates and reviews technical policies and procedures for the Technical Operations. Implements and enforces all regulatory requirements (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, HIPAA, CMS, FDA, HFAP, etc.).
MT (ASCP) Certification required
Bachelors Degree required. MBA or Technical Masters Degree a plus
Minimum 5 years clinical supervisory experience required
