Laser Processing Engineer SAGE Electrochromics

SAGE Electrochromics is currently seeking an experienced Laser Processing Engineer as a key contributor to the research and development group at SAGE Electrochromics, working closely with a group of scientist to assist and develop laser related processes for electrochromic glazing.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead or assist with development of laser-related processes for electrochromic glazing.
Assist production in case of issues with the laser systems (process and/or equipment)
Plan, conduct and analyze design of experiments for process optimization.
Develop and deploy process control methods for multiple laser processes
Creation of intellectual property relating to process of electrochromic glass
Required Skills:
Minimum of a master?s level degree in physics, optical engineering, electrical engineering or materials science with hands-on experience in laser/materials interaction.
Have a good understanding of laser ablation processes.
Ability to conduct experimental trials independently.
Strong background in statistical experimental methods and data analysis.
Ability to manage large projects, write comprehensive reports and able to present results in front of management
Demonstrated ability to bring new equipment into production with sound methodology
Experience in thin film solar laser processing would be a strong plus
Fluent in German is a plus
