GENERALPostmates is rapidly expanding into new markets and is looking for launchers responsible for the activation of new cities. This is a highly specialized team that requires a unique balance of both creative and operational skill. You'll spend the majority of your time on the road, but will be headquartered out of our offices in San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Ops management to hire a City General Manager and Community Manager to oversee operations
Learn the in's and out's of each new city
Develop and execute local marketing campaigns to build excitement and drive user acquisition
Identify strategic partnership opportunities and manage local inbound interest from merchants and customers
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of marketing or operational management experience
Strong communication skills
Proven track record in managing a marketing or operations roadmap
Strategic and analytical thinker who has shown the ability to scale operations
Deliver results on time-sensitive projects
Pro-actively develop plans to address new challenges and opportunities
You should be comfortable working in a startup environment and participating in individual and group critiques.
Experience with extensive business or personal travel and proven ability to work remotely
You want to change the world at least a little bit
You appreciate complex problems
