Lead Artist Linden Lab
Overview:
The Lead Artist will collaborate with production teams to establish and prototype visuals for multiple new products and games.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage visual direction and design production from concept to release
Create art assets that drive the visual identity and user interface of the game
Assure that products display and personify quality and performance
Initiate, foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders critical to both current and future development process
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience with 3D and 2D art production and design
Ability to communicate visually and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions
Up-to-date on graphic design trends in games, apps, movies, print and popular culture
Versatility to determine art styles specific to product concepts and prototyping in concept sketches, storyboards and Maya
Expertise in Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush, and other art production tools
Proven expertise in modeling, texturing, character setup, animation, effects, lighting, rendering
Professional understanding of game design pipelines and tools
Experience managing online content publishing processes
Candidates must provide demo reel, samples or art link
