Lead Generation Manager Mashery

Mashery is looking for a Lead Generation Manager to join our growing team in Boston. The role will be to coach, train and manage a small team of Lead Generation Specialists. He/she will work closely with our Director, Lead Generation in executing on lead generation strategy, including lead nurturing, pre-sales enablement, outbound prospecting best practices, lead scoring/process, lead program(s) implementation and sales content delivery.
As an active member of the Mashery sales team, the Lead Generation Manager will lead a team that helps build the sales pipeline and drive revenues. Responsibilities:
Partner with Director of Lead Gen to implement, execute, and drive Mashery team?s outbound lead generation activities
Coach, train and mentor a small team of Lead Generation Specialists
Increase and promote brand awareness of Mashery?s API solutions
Utilize professional communication skills to research and consult with prospective partners
Participate in hiring activities of Lead Generation Specialists
Continually work with team on messaging, outbound campaign initiatives, and prospect development
Regularly communicates with Lead Gen Director on team activities, progress, and opportunities
Reports on sales activities & forecasts
Qualified candidates for this position are/have:
Experience managing B2B inside sales teams in a software startup environment (SaaS experience even better)
A passion for and/or interest in innovative technology
Highly self-motivated and metrics-driven
Experience using and administering CRM software (Salesforce.com desirable)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to travel to SF, NYC, or other locations on occasion
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree required
2-3 years of previous inside sales/lead generation team management experience
5-7 years of previous successful B2B sales experience in the software industry
