REPORTS TO: Director of Corporate Sales
As a Lead Generation Specialist you will be utilizing your outbound phone skills for Business to Business lead generation and sales prospecting. Leads that you qualify will be passed on via our CRM tool to our Middle Market and National sales teams to contact. Another aspect of this position will be to become an expert and administrator of our SalesForce our CRM tool. Those responsibilities will include, updating prospects, updating contact with prospects via e-mail or phone, mass e-mails, uploading data, setting up campaigns and overall upkeep of the CRM tool.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
B2B lead generation and sales prospecting
Prospecting/Prospect Calls, handling objections and gathering sales lead intelligence about prospective customers
Qualifying leads from trade shows, email campaigns, and other marketing campaigns
Aggressively prospect targeted corporate clients through cold calling and quickly determine account potential and strategy for account
Work directly with Sales team in effectively and efficiently transitioning sales opportunities
Become expert in all aspects of SalesForce as a CRM tool
Strong outbound selling skills with a minimum of 3 ? 5 years of outbound sales.
Ability to effectively communicate, understand the clients needs and build strong relationships with the customer to provide solutions to problems.
Excellent telephone skills.
Strong organization skills and attention to detail including ability to document and communicate program details effectively to customers and sales team.
Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Self-motivator comfortable working autonomously; strong time management skills.
Team player with strong work ethic and the willingness and ability to adapt in a fast paced, changing environment.
