We are looking to build out our great engineering talent, with individuals who can be real and handle a typical day:
Maintain and improve Lithium?s continuous delivery system. Emphasis on ?improve?.
Work with Engineering, QA, and Tech Operations to leverage every angle for optimizing the product deployment process, and when one doesn?t exist, invent it.
Design and implement new tools to help make engineers work more efficiently.
Be an advocate for the art of making great software.
Be a fearless investigator of new technology and then become an advocate for using it when you see a potential win.
Do you have what it takes?
B.S. in Computer Science or other relevant technical field
5+ years of commercial experience as a build/release engineer, infrastructure engineer, or systems administration
Experience in one or more SCM technologies (Git, Subversion, Perforce, etc.)
Experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins, Bamboo or TeamCity.
The ideal candidate will have implemented or actively maintained a build system using Maven, SCons, C/Make, Jam, or similar
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages ? Ruby, Python, Perl etc.
Solid Linux skills.
Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
Self-starter that is results focused with the ability to work independently and in teams
Proven track record of taking projects to completion.
Experience with cloud technologies such as Chef, Puppet, AWS, OpenStack and similar.
Familiarity with Java, Node, and other web app technologies
Proficiency with Apache, Tomcat, or similar
Experience with MySQL or other RDBMS
Familiarity and experience with Agile (scrum or kanban) development process
