Metacloud is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Inside Sales Representative to join our sales organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Lead Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for cultivating new client relationships through online research, telephone-based prospecting, learning and clearly presenting the benefits and value proposition for our unique solutions and services, and by planning and scheduling client meetings on behalf of our outside sales executives.
In this multi-faceted role, the Lead Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for:
Researching the competitive landscape for cloud services to develop target lists of likely client organizations.
Determination of key stakeholders in target organization with decision-making power or the ability to influence cloud purchasing decisions.
Researching stakeholder social networks and referral chains to make contact with each stakeholder and to expand our client knowledge base.
Cultivating relationships within target organizations leading to a concise, but highly professional, presentation of the benefits of our solutions and services.
Working with our technology partners to foster new client relationships.
Converting potential clients into scheduled appointments with our Senior Account Executives and our Solutions Architects.
Ultimately, this position will be measured upon the number of client appointments scheduled (telephone and on-site) and actual conversions to sales.
Growing the Inside Sales function and group within our organization.
The Lead Inside Sales Representative will be required to work on location for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Bachelor?s degree in CS... nice to have but... we?ll focus on what you know right now, what you have accomplished, where you shine, and how your current and future goals mesh with ours.
3-5 years inside sales experience including all facets of client cultivation and client generation activities.
2-4 years of specific experience selling product and/or solutions to enterprise organizations with high-availability (HA), fully-virtualized, and highly-automated enterprise operations.
Experience mentoring and guiding other sales representatives in client generation best practices.
1-3 years experience with Linux systems engineering.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) are essential to this role.
The ideal candidate would have a broad exposure to enterprise virtualization solutions (e.g., VMWare?s V-Center, V-Director, Site Recovery Manager, Microsoft?s Hyper-V, open-source solutions such as KVM, etc.).
Prior experience working in a start-up operation is strongly desired but not required. We need people who know how to work independently and make things happen.
