FixYa is seeking a talented and passionate lead designer with a strong User Interface background who has the vision and creativity to make our products simple, fun, and intuitive.Responsibilities:
Own and execute FixYa's UI and UX.
Design simple experiences that delight users.
Solve complex problems and drive our products experience forward.
Lead the design of new products and initiatives.
Map, wireframe, and mockup new features and products.
Design and implement user flows and interactions.
Make design decisions based both on usability and metrics.
Requirements:
The king/queen of Less is More.
Proven experience with a top tier consumer internet product.
Solid Adobe CS skills.
Attention to detail and quality across browsers.
Record of producing functional designs that simplify and solve usability problems.
A solid understanding of modern web technologies. This is not a coding position, but you understand the ins and outs of html, css, and javascript.
A strong portfolio demonstrating real-world experience creating superb user-experiences.
Autodidact. Able to dive into new technologies and approaches and become sufficient.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
5+ years of professional Internet consumer products design experience is preferred.
