The Lead Management Marketing Manager will play a key role in formalizing Catbird?s lead process, including creating an end-to-end lead management system that is replicable and measurable, and guiding its implementation and execution across the Marketing and Sales teams.

Scope of Position
The Lead Management Marketing Manager will direct the Catbird Sales and Marketing teams in the development of a sophisticated lead generation, nurturing, and handoff process built upon Salesforce.com and a marketing automation platform (TBD) which results in both Catbird and our partners receiving a steady flow of well qualified leads. While daily execution of lead generation activities will focus on North America, the Lead Management Marketing Manager will have regular interaction with the global Catbird Sales and Marketing organization regarding process creation and execution. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and works closely with Sales, including the Inside Sales and Account Executive teams.
Essential Job Functions
In addition to establishing and managing an overall process for lead management at Catbird, the Lead Managment Marketing Manager will participate in the following activities on a regular basis.
In partnership with the Sales team, responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the lead list in salesforce.com.
Consultant on the budget and relationships for purchased and rented lead sources.
Partner with members of the sales and marketing team to create campaigns from beginning to end, including campaign planning, audience targeting, messaging, and reporting. Examples include email, webinars, downloadable web content, events, etc. This includes social media as well.
Administrator and primary expert user of the marketing automation overlay to salesforce.com.
Work with sales, marketing and other stakeholders to develop lead scoring criteria within salesforce.com and marketing automation products to track and validate a lead?s quality.
Work with Catbird and partner stakeholders to create lead nurture programs that will create greater velocity through the sales pipeline. Assist stakeholders with customer contact strategies to deepen the customer relationship and increase sales opportunities and then execute on these campaigns.
Develop innovative approaches to lead generation and nurturing.
Work with creative team to adapt messaging into compelling and effective direct response copy that fits the appropriate audience and marketing vehicle while maintaining the Catbird brand.
Analytics & Reporting
Define and report on the lead to opportunity to close process, and conduct rigorous measurement of sales and marketing programs at both a macro and micro level. Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, draw insights and make data-based adjustments.
Produce weekly reports and monthly dashboards and analysis to demonstrate campaign progress on revenue, pipeline, awareness and market perception through reports on leads, conversion, ROI, opportunities and revenue potential.
Assist with adword/search engine optimization and strategy to enable above goals, including ensuring Catbird?s search engine work is integrated across its existing marketing tools, including salesforce.com, Leadlander and the marketing automation tool.
Bachelor?s Degree required. Master?s Degree preferred.
Engineering or technical background a plus
At least 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, including lead generation.
Expert user of salesforce.com and a marketing automation package such as Marketo, Pardot or Eloqua.
Demonstrated history of innovation and drive that will support building ?from the ground-up? a lead generation program for Catbird.
B2B Marketer who is immersed in the theory and new developments of lead generation and can train others.
A ?varsity mathlete? who thrives on analysis, can build measurable and replicable systems and has the communication skills to explain it clearly.
Experience with digital promotion. Candidate should be prepared to produce copies of previous work demonstrating above. Candidate should be able to work under pressure in tight deadlines.
