Lead Production Support International Catastrophe Insurance

The Lead, Production Support provides leadership and direction to a group of Production Support Coordinators (the team) and Production Support Assistant including training/mentoring, workflow planning, proactive identification and resolution of issues that impact workflow, customer service and the fulfillment of policy administration and procedural requirements. The Lead, Production Support will address personnel and organization issues with the assistance of the Supervisor, Production Support.
Workflow Planning and Reporting
Provide guidance and direction to the team in planning and executing to workflow, customer service, the fulfillment of underwriting policy and procedural requirements. Ensures that team and company performance objectives are met consistently (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.).
Provide daily, weekly, monthly, etc. status and variance reports on Production Support workflow, customer service, and the fulfillment of Production Support and procedural requirements and ICAT?s Service Standards.
Work collaboratively within the team, with other teams and the Production Support Supervisor to proactively identify and resolve issues that impact workflow, customer service and the fulfillment of Production Support policy and procedural requirements.
Leadership & Supervision
Develop strong business relationships with team members, encourage inter-team and inter-departmental cooperation and support.
Provide guidance and direction to individuals and the team.
Work collaboratively with individuals, the team and the Production Support Supervisor.
Provides leadership needed to create a team-oriented, client-driven, results-driven team.
With the assistance of the Supervisor, Production Support and in accordance with the organization?s policies and applicable laws:
- Lead and supervise Production Support personnel.
- Coach, mentor and develop employees.
- Recruit, interview, and train employees.
- Plan, assign, and direct work, including coordination of work and PTO schedules.
- Identify and work with the supervisor to resolve employee training and performance issues.
- Complete the formal appraising of performance of assigned Production Support personnel.
- Provide recognition to employees for good performance.
- Address complaints and resolve problems.
Communicates and coordinates regularly with ICAT Boulder and Bangalore teams.
Provide input and assistance in the development and maintenance of Production Support policy, procedures, and training materials.
Process & Operations Management
Works to identify process optimization opportunities and implement process optimizations as appropriate.
Take part in process migration activities.
In conjunction with the Production Support Supervisor, maintains up to date procedural documentation.
Determine training requirements and training schedules for new and existing employees; ensure adequate training is accomplished within ICAT Standards.
Coordinates and/or delivers appropriate training, either directly or through other ICAT personnel.
Other duties as assigned.
Works under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Production Support and may provide supervision of Production Support personnel.

3-5 years progressive administrative and/or customer service experience an insurance and/or financial services company.
1-3 years progressive leadership and/or supervisory experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience and skills working with Microsoft Office applications specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent field.
Physical Work Demands
Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Mental Work Demands
Regular and on-time attendance.
Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
