We?re are looking to build out our great engineering talent, with individuals who can be real and handle a typical day of:
Improve our existing test framework and train QA and dev engineers on using these tools
Work closely with developers and QA engineers to incorporate test cases into unit tests and automated API/UI tests
Code review test written by QA and Dev engineers periodically to ensure quality of tests
Evangelize test driven development across engineering
Build a deep understanding of our product and code base and understand the dependencies in an effort to identify risk in changes in code.
Implement processes and tools needed to improve test environment health & maintenance. Drive quality standards in test environment and test data modeling.
Plan and drive the test automation efforts with the goal of building a concrete regression test coverage
Continuous improvement of test coverage ? review bugs reported by customers or Support services, and incorporate learned lessons into tests
Write documents that will be used as training materials and evangelize quality best practices across engineering organization.
Do you have what it takes?
Over 6 years in platform testing or development (3+ years in development preferred)
Over 2 years of SaaS experience
Ability to influence QA and development engineers and cross function teams is critical
Team oriented, quick learner, creative and an exceptional problem solver
Ability to quickly understand technical and business requirements and translate them into practical test plan
Excellent presentation and documentation skills
Programming experience with Java
Experience with xUnit framework (Junit and JMeter)
Experience with data bases is a plus
Experience with JIRA and source control (subversion, or git)
Proficiency in Unix shell scripts and Linux
Experience with API testing
Experience with tool such as selenium, Cucumber and TestNG
A degree in Computer Science (MS preferred)
