What you?ll doAs a Lead Quality Engineer (Lead QE) you will be responsible for embedding quality throughout the software development and product engineering process by engaging in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle starting with the Concept phase. The Lead QE will conduct Quality Engineering activities including test definition, execution, and automation. Expert understanding of mobile applications, networking technologies and protocols (wired and wireless) is critical to success. The Lead QE will lead a project team with successful management and completion of various critical projects.
How you?ll do it
Experience in leading a project team, functioning as a senior or lead engineering role required
Expert in testing applications running on Android devices and Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch)
Testing applications on various versions of mobile operating systems and generations over various network connectivity possibilities including Edge, 3G, & 802.11
Comfortable using Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows operating systems
Good understanding of installation logistics using iTunes for non released apps
Basic understanding or experience with developing apps for Apple devices is a huge plus
In-depth understanding of Quality Engineering in Scrum/Agile environments
In-depth understand and proven experience of Functional, Unit, performance, Compatibility, and User Acceptance Testing of mobile and web applications and technologies
What you?ll need
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years in software Quality Engineering with emphasis on Mobile Devices/Applications and Test Automation
What you?ve done
Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for mobile and web applications and networking services
Document and report defects, test results, and drive them through resolution and verification
Write queries to verify application data in a MySQL database
Write reusable automation tests cases/keywords for both IOS and Android platforms using UIAutomation
and Robotium/JUnit respectively
Develop automated test scripts using Unix shell,
Perform wireless functional and throughput testing
