Responsibilities:
Enables and assists internal business units to architect, build, and maintain certified systems and infrastructures. Participates in feasibility studies for the installation of new systems for the purpose of determining how best to securely deploy the new systems.
Recommends and implements business security strategies, architectures and infrastructures that align with business strategies and requirements.
Reviews and identifies areas where existing policies and procedures require change, and steers and/or participates with teams creating, modifying, and maintaining policies, standards, and guidelines as they relate to information security.
Provides technical consulting services during initial setup and secure deployment of systems that support information security including virus protection systems, Firewalls, IDS systems, content filters, and system monitoring.
Designs and provides guidelines in maintaining documentation and procedure of security systems at the network, server, database, and application layers.
Offers technical information security consulting services to staff responsible for InComm?s systems, including Network Engineers, Network Administrators, Systems Administrators, and Database Administrators.
Performs security penetration testing as part of the ongoing security services for InComm.
Leads Incidence Response Team with his/her expertise in hands-on forensics.
Qualifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP, active)
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Qualified Security Assessor (PCI QSA)
Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)
Training in SANS Intrusion Detection In-Depth Certificate; Applied Computer Forensics
Strong experienced in network and system protocol analysis
Security Architecture experience inclusive of IT systems and custom application design and deployment.
Security Audit experience inclusive of PCI, network systems, data centers.
Security Assessment experience inclusive of firewall/DMZ configurations, extranets, Intranets, 802.1x, telecommunications and network management systems.
Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council training and certification
Experience Checkpoint Firewall, Oracle 10g Database Administration, Sun Solaris, Lotus Notes
Ethical Hacking experience includes Internet, web-deployed applications.
Experience with security tools such as Nessus, ISS, Retina, nmap, netcat, AppScan, AppDetective, Nikto, Webinspect, Backtrack, Tripwire, Trigeo, ArcSight, nCircle, IBM Rational AppScan, and Qualys
Highly desirable ? experience in Palo Alto Networks appliances, DLP technologies (such as Code Green Networks), SIEM (such as Q1 Labs or Nitro Security)
Bachelor's Degree (B.S.), or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Protection, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related curriculum.
