LEAD SECURITY / PENETRATION ENGINEER Belkin Corporation
What you?ll doAs a Lead Security / Penetration Engineer, you will be a key member of the Quality and Test Engineering team and will be responsible for building the automation for specific product features and applications. The SDET is results-oriented, forward focused, and pragmatic.
How you?ll do it
Assess the products, platforms, and technologies being used, and then develop a plan on how to approach automating them
Gather automation requirements from key stakeholders including QA, development, Product Management, and User Experience
Develop automated regression coverage
Train testers and developers on the features and how to use automation using the framework
Work with engineering, product management, support, and other key groups to insure functional and non-functional requirements are tracked and converted into test cases for automation
What you?ll need
Outstanding communication skills
Previous experience writing automation scripts for API and UI testing
Working experience with Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar automation frameworks
Working experience using a unit test framework (MbUnit, Watin, Watir, NUnit, WatiJ, JTiger, JUnit, or any kind of xUnit test framework)
Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design and Analysis and working knowledge of commonly used Design Patterns
Working knowledge of SQL and data modeling
Good understanding of SOAP, XML, HTML, HTTP, HTTPS
Experience developing automation frameworks in C, C++, C#, Java, or Objective C
Working knowledge of at least one script language (perl / python / ruby)
Understanding of Keyword Driven, Behavior Driven, or Data Driven Development and Testing
What you?ve done
Experience with VMware Workstation / ESX Server, and virtualized test environments
Experience working in Scrum or Agile Software Development environments
Experience with mobile applications (iOS or Android)
