Lead Software Engineer PreEmptive Solutions

PreEmptive Solutions is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Runtime Intelligence team.

The Runtime Intelligence Service provides software application usage analytics and statistics. The service collects data from desktop, web, mobile, and other applications on a variety of platforms. It then turns the raw data into intelligence, via dashboards and reports, providing new insights for application owners and stakeholders. The service is currently used by millions of application installations deployed worldwide and its adoption is accelerating.

You will be responsible for serving as a lead engineer working with a team of highly talented software engineers implementing improvements to the system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides leadership for the overall technical design of Runtime Intelligence Service
Resolve high-level functional issues
Determines how technology can be applied to best meet the business needs
Works with DBA to determine data requirements and structure of SQL Database
Works with Operations to ensure performance of the system is properly measured
Provides guidance in the configuration of the application
Perform hands-on coding and development of application functionality using multiple development tools
Provides technical coaching to the development team
Drive engineering excellence and best practices within the team
Provides constructive code reviews for team members

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

BS in Computer Science or Related Field
5+ Years Software Engineering Experience
Experience developing applications based on Microsoft SQL Server Database
Experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Services and C
Experience with IIS and Internet Application Security
Experience with MSMQ
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax and XML
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to object oriented programming and software development
Strong design and coding skills
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills
Ability to drive solutions to complicated problems with clarity and action
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment yet deliver high quality products

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Microsoft Certifications with Application Development.
