We are designing and architecting the next generation Platform and Infrastructure that will lay the foundation for Adchemy?s products in the future. Our technology stack is very broad and encompasses many areas ? we use cutting edge technologies that best solve the problem at hand. Here's a sampling:NoSQL technologies like MongoDB, Memcached
Graph databases such as Neo4j, bigdata
Compute platforms such as Twitter's Storm, Hadoop
HTML 5 / NodeJS / jQuery etc for the front end
Amazon EC2 / Chef for deployments?.. and so on
You will play a critical role in building out the Platform that is reliable, available and scalable to meet the growing demands of our users and our business. We follow agile development principles that enable us to be nimble in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical leadership and display a passion for software development.
Participate in system design and architecture decisions.
Create code that is simple, extensible, optimized and robust.
Collaborate with other team members to evolve development processes.
Actively find ways to improve software (evaluate and incorporate new tools and technologies; code reviews; refactoring; etc.)
Work with customers and product management to identify and define features.
REQUIREMENTS
High proficiency with Core Java/J2EE and object oriented design
Excellent track record delivering clean and simple designs and implementations
Experience with JUnit, JMeter or other testing frameworks
Experience with Maven or Ant build scripts
Bachelor's degree and 7+years experience or Master's with 5+ years experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
NoSQL stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra
RESTful Web Services
Large scale distributed systems
Experience with Cloud platforms such as Amazon EC2
Open Source development
