As our first full-time technical recruiter, you?re charged with finding and recruiting great engineers with varied backgrounds who bring an entrepreneurial drive and a diversity of thought to all they do. You?re responsible for guiding candidates through our hiring process and connecting them to the vision, mission and culture at Axial. You have an interpersonal savvy that allows you to develop lasting relationships with candidates and hiring managers. You?re also comfortable with using numbers and data to draw insights from our hiring process to constantly make it smarter and more successful.
You?ll manage the entire candidate process, from generating pipeline to maintaining a successful offer acceptance rate. By leveraging your knowledge of Axial?s hiring needs and search requirements, you effectively match candidates with the roles in which they will be most successful.
Hire top software engineering talent and meet quarterly hiring goals
Source active and passive candidates through employee referrals, networking, events, internal databases, contact lists and research
Provide a fast and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process, including reference checks, salary recommendations and closing of candidates
Negotiate offers by partnering with senior management, and other groups as necessary
Communicate effectively with the interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process Share and exchange information with all levels of management
Strong domain knowledge and expertise in Software Engineering recruiting.
Knowledge and experience in a wide range of current recruiting policies, practices, and trends and the ability to grasp new technologies
Proven recruiting experience in an executive search firm or corporate environment, executing a variety of technical talent searches
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
Ability to drive efforts and projects through influence, relationships, and broad knowledge base.
Proven ability to develop employees and maximize individual and team performance while maintaining a fun working environment
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience)
5 years experience specifically in a technical recruiting capacity
Ability to handle customer relationship management, provide strong customer consultative skills and work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency.
Proven recruiting experience in a corporate environment implementing a wide range of staffing programs.
Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy and interpersonal expertise.
