As a Designer at Jive Software, you'll be helping create the most innovative business collaboration tool on the market. You'll be responsible for delivering solutions for Jive's products, working closely with Product Management and Engineering to drive innovation that will further Jive's market leadership. You'll be deeply involved in the helping define the vision, delivering visual design and a top notch experience, and helping to redefine the design landscape of enterprise software.The designer we're looking for has
6+ years experience designing web applications
An overwhelming desire to deliver the best solutions
The ability to work collaboratively across different teams (product management, engineering, marketing)
The ability to work with a team of designers; aiding, mentoring, and growing the team
The ability to communicate a solution to others
The ability to design for a variety of platforms (mobile, tablet, desktop)
A strong proficiency in the technical aspects of web applications (HTML, CSS, jQuery, etc)
The ability to ensure the product's design aesthetic across multiple products
A design portfolio of shipped products
What this role isn't
A pure visual design role. You'll be working on solutions in a variety of ways, from visual design, information and workflow design, and helping implement the design.
A pure development role. While the ability to develop or help guide implementation is an important part of the job, the job is much more than that!
