Plastiq is looking for an in-house lead user experience designer who will help shape a system of delightful touch-points, offline & online, that connect customers with real, lasting value.
The design team at Plastiq creates the vision for our product experiences, imagining the next phases of our UIs that will excite users. We seek bold thinkers to join us who are eager to redefine Plastiq and change the world of payments. -
Responsibilities:
-Crease the strategy for research and testing (user testing, A/B testing, questionnaires)
-Conduct research for new product initiatives as well as refinement for existing products
-Create documentation that supports the research phase, findings, recommendations and outcome goals
-Work closely with internal product team to develop and create intelligent, inspirational concepts that are both uniquely creative and a joy to use
-Create storyboards / journey-maps that clearly express your ideas for superb user experience
-Address user confusion and needs by creating innovative user experiences
-Product wireframes that communicate your ideas for information architecture and user interface design
-Analysis of current Web product analytics and outcome based on improvements
Requirements:
-5+ years in UX roles in a consumer product organization
-"Design" oriented, strategic approach to product & service / big picture, systems thinking
-Analytical thinking with a love of cognitive science
-Great communication skills in conversation and documentation
-Ability to collaborate / harness the brain power in "the room"
-Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator in particular)
-Strong sense of user psychology and what motivates behavior
-Experience working for a payments company a plus
-Web development skills a plus
-Team player
