Position Description:
The Lead Web Analyst tracks, analyzes, and reports website and digital content usage data. Monitors visitor click-through and drilldown to determine appropriate layout, positioning and flow of digital content and website. Determines the sites from which visitors most frequently arrive. In addition, the Lead Web Analyst works with Web developers to optimize website design, digital content, and performance. Develops reporting tools to create custom reports, and measures usability and effectiveness to make recommendations for improvements. Prepares custom reports for other departments as well as for management.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
The responsibilities of the Lead Web Analyst are described below.
Lead the analytics practice within the Connecture User Experience team.
Coordinate between cross-functional teams to implement and monitor user behavior and system utilization.
Drive the data strategy across multiple listening posts - analytics, surveys, data warehouse.
Consult with clients on strategic goals to be tracked and provide regular reports on their site performance and trends.
Provide a voice into product design on user behavior and trouble areas.
Provide monthly and quarterly reports on clickstream analytics.
Develop executive and client dashboards.
Implement and verify tagging solutions.
Create and complete of Multivariate and A/B testing documents and post test analysis.
Document existing processes and suggestion / presentations for improving those processes.
Deliver/create effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) for project teams and business leaders.
Provide insights, trends, and analysis of key performance indicators.
Provide quick-turn-around responses to ad-hoc data queries.
Required Skills:
Qualifications:
3-4 years of working with clickstream analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends, etc.)
Two years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, surveys, and market research.
Experience in online ecommerce or online support environments.
Strong computer skills (Internet, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM Programs)
Required:

Ability to meet deadlines and goals.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent presentation skills both face to face and using WebEx, Go-TO-Meeting or similar programs.
Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Education:
BS/BA Degree required
