Overview:
The primary purpose of this role is to manage the training function for operational training for the company. This includes needs assessment, design, development, delivery and evaluation of courses for employees of all levels using a variety of methods including classroom, online and blended learning techniques. This position also works closely with business units to align with core competency development, creates online learning paths and develops an online library to enhance identified skills.
Responsibilities:
Analyzes training needs for new hires and upskilling opportunities for existing roles within the company
Designs and develops learning content for all levels of operational employees, including PIMs and Brightree Systems
Facilitates learning experiences for onboarding, functional job skills, patient skills and quality
Maintains active online learning library for content based on job descriptions
Works with Subject Matter Experts to include CCS Medical specific content in all learning experiences
Determines appropriate measurements to evaluate training, including, but not limited to, criterion-referenced achievement tests, questionnaires, simulations, observations, performance checklists and demonstrations
Collaborates with other members of the Learning and Development team to produce high-quality results
Works with clients to ensure needs are met
Reports results to the Learning and Development Director
Aligns with Human Resources department for consistency of messaging
Must maintain a high degree of company and employee confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information
Maintains regular and consistent attendance

Ability to balance multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to make decisions in accordance with laws, regulations and established policies
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with employees at all levels
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
