THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Learning and Development Manager will lead the design, development and delivery of CSOD?s learning and development program and other related initiatives to advance the organization?s values and strategy. While developing and supporting a unified culture and company-wide standards and practices, the successful candidate will assess and address the needs of a global workforce and the unique needs of the organization?s divisions and country offices.
The Learning and Development Manager will also work closely with Talent (HR) Business Partners to create pro-active and responsive solutions to the overall organizational performance. This will involve collaborating with key internal stakeholders such as members of the Executive Team and their extended leadership team
Designs and develops formal and informal resources, tools and learning solutions to meet individual and organizational development through engagement surveys, leader interviews and discussions, and other analytical methods.
Works closely with Talent Business Partners to support division and country-specific development needs.
Establishes and monitors short/long range learning and development goals and objectives, based on organization?s strategic direction and priorities.
Conducts assessment activities involving a variety of diagnostic and data collection methods.
Develops learning metrics. Analyzes and interprets data and reports results and findings to management; formulates recommendations and proposals based on analysis.
Designs and facilitates learning activities that engages learners in a variety of different ways, employing different learning methods and technologies as appropriate.
Conducts benchmarking activities to ensure the use of innovative approaches and best practices.
Develops a learning catalogue and curriculum from vendor and third-party providers specific to learning and development.
Maintains strong working knowledge of various industry trends and best practices through attending professional meetings and seminars, reading current journals, books, and case studies, and watching training videos.
Required Skills and Experience
Master?s degree in Training/ Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field is desired.
A minimum of 4 years direct experience in leading training and/or organizational development functions; or Bachelor?s degree in Training/Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or related field.
A minimum of 4 years direct experience in leading training and/or organizational development functions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven project management experience.
Prior experience in leading learning initiatives from design to deployment within organizations is essential.
Prior experience implementing and/or enhancing a Learning Management System (LMS) and knowledge of current e-learning authoring software and design principles are preferred.
Strong understanding and applying of adult learning principles
Working knowledge and experience utilizing online learning tools and technology
Strong facilitation, coaching, consulting, and presentation skills
Excellent time management & project management skills
Proven experience at leading global learning initiatives
Excellent written and verbal skills
Strong working knowledge and use of learning evaluation methods to assess learning transfer
Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy a fun and challenging environment.
