Job Description
The Learning Consultant works as part of the Product Services team to analyze and research customer programs and training needs targeted primarily toward the customer?s workforce. Duties include conducting needs analysis and other research to identify and validate training needs, making recommendations on training designs based on customer requirements. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast changing and growing entrepreneurial environment.
Job Requirements/Responsibilities
? Lead customer engagements in area of expertise, providing customer management, training project management and project delivery services.
? Collect and compile relevant data for consulting engagements through customer interviews, document review and secondary research.
? Conduct organizational analysis with customer stakeholders to identify performance improvement and applicable training opportunities at all levels of organizational operation.
? Work with customer business leaders and training managers to align program interventions with key customer initiatives and organizational strategy.
? Design and develop learning solutions for customers as identified, to include, but not limited to handouts, PowerPoints, Instructor Guides, activities, content, scenarios, webinars, job aids, online tutorials, etc.
? Develop approaches to measure the impact of the learning solutions
? Project manage multiple or single customer projects
Experience/Skills
? A minimum of 5-6 years of professional training experience in the software industry
? Strong people skills, including interpersonal, communication, organizational, facilitation and presentation skills
? Strong program management skills
? Excellent verbal skills, including consultative interviewing, telephone research/prospecting, customer communication and presentations, report writing, including proofreading and editorial skills
? Graphic design and/or document layout skills a plus
? Collect and compile relevant data for consulting engagements through customer interviews, document review and secondary research.
? Demonstrably strong analytical skills, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, with excellent deductive and inductive reasoning skills
? Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Project
? Willing to learn and use eMeter products
Education Requirements
? Bachelor?s degree required
? Masters Degree preferred (emphasis in training and organizational development)
