Job Description
TiER1 is looking for an experienced, ?smart but humble? Learning Strategist who is passionate about learning and human performance to join our team.
The Learning Strategist will work with clients to guide the development of learning strategies and delivery of learning programs, experiences and processes at all levels of the client organization throughout the life cycle of the engagement. The Learning Strategist must be a consultant to the client first and foremost, partnering with client staff and internal TiER1 team members to develop solutions that meet the defined (and maybe not so defined) learning objectives. The Learning Strategist also provides thought leadership on the importance of organizational effectiveness, performance management, talent management, change management and knowledge management initiatives in support of identified strategic objectives. The Learning Strategist has a well-developed Learning ?point of view? that they can articulate and apply in a variety of learning situations.
Qualifications
10+ years? experience learning and development, adult learning, talent management and performance management solutions in complex, dynamic consulting environment, as an integrated business partner, setting strategic direction and delivering practical business solutions.
5 years? experience with learning technology tools
Minimum 8 years? demonstrated lead project management experience, with direct accountability for project deliverables, and in overseeing the work of others (e.g., staff resources or external vendors).
Thorough experience creating and driving e-learning and organizational development initiatives by applying adult learning methodology, with emphasis on linking organizational and learning needs to competency, curriculum and course objectives.
Experience in effectively functioning in a team based environment.
Demonstrated experience in adult learning theory and practicemethodologies and evaluation practices,.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong consulting and training delivery skills.
Knowledge and experience with computer based training and distance learning delivery methods.
Bachelor?s degree in Education,Organization Development, Human Resources or related field required. Master?s degree in Instructional Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology preferred.
