Job Description:


To contact prospective and current authors, primarily via phone, and enable them to purchase a family history package by interviewing the client and selling to meet the clients needs.

Duties

Initiate daily contact via telephone with established and prospective clients within a database to sell family history packages.
Initiate and maintain daily contact as appropriate via email with established and prospective clients within a database. Maintain accurate and complete notes in customer database.


Job Requirements:


Education: High school diploma required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year Business to Business, or Business to Consumer, Outbound or Inbound Sales experience required.
Specific Skills: Superior knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook e-mail, Internet use and typing skills at 50 WPM.

Physical Skill: Sufficient manual and digital dexterity to work with a computer, keyboard, mouse, monitor, and phone pad.

Working Conditions: 8:00 am 5:00 pm core schedule with frequent flexibility for start and ending times. Additional hours and/or overtime depending on the position may be required due to business needs. Other duties may be required as assigned.
