Undertake high level administrative support to a department or team, involving some independent research and collation of information. Resource for contractual questions and issues to both internal and external customers. Prepare initial drafts of contracts, revise contracts and prepare execution copies; track contracts in database; establish and maintain contract files; prepare and send client correspondence. Duties and responsibilities will be broad in scope and require considerable judgment and initiative in resolving unique problems and making recommendations. Professionally represents the manager and/or department assigned.
The responsibilities of the role will include some or all of the following:
Perform review of agreements and draft revisions of various Quintiles contracts.
Undertake projects and respond to internal and external requests, forwarding issues to appropriate individuals, as needed.
Participate in the development of department procedures to improve the timely completion of contract deliverables.
Arrange and schedule meetings and teleconferences with internal and external parties.
Coordinate travel schedules making recommendations for cost saving and effective alternatives.
Compile meeting agendas, take and distribute minutes and follow up on action points, escalating issues where appropriate.
Serve as an information source for department, answering questions, making referrals as required, and conducting required research.
Assist in the development and design of improved administrative procedures to promote the timely processing and submission of all administrative deliverables.
Develop and implement an efficient work flow and information tracking/retrieval system across all assigned projects, and maintain/archives files and records.
Track work and obtain appropriate reviews and approvals, adhering to established processes.
Ensure delivery of a final contract in a timely fashion, working independently or as part of a team.
Identify support required from Attorney on contract terms that require extensive negotiation.
Conduct written and/or verbal follow-up with Customers after the delivery of draft or signature-ready contracts.
Support departmental activities directed toward meeting planned and projected Corporate goals including sales/revenue/customer satisfaction goals.
Attend and participate in Team meetings.
Perform other duties as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Thorough knowledge of Quintiles? standard contract terms, conditions and fallback language
Strong skills using MS Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent proofreading, editing and oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple priorities and meet established timelines
Ability to review, comprehend and explain contract terms to customers
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College degree with 2 years relevant experience; preferably a law firm or in-house legal department or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
Regular sitting for extended periods of time
