Position Description:
Antenna: provides enterprise mobile applications and tools that extend enterprise solutions into the field.
POSITION SUMMARY: Antenna provides development capability to customers and partners. Those customers and partners will develop applications and will require support. Cases from a customer or partner require technical skills to correct and/or advise our customer?s developers on the use of the Antenna Mobile Platform. In addition, production issues may also be reported which will require level 3.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
As an expert user of the Antenna Mobile Platform, provide internal and external customers with solutions to problems.
Troubleshoot issues reported by customers and communicate solutions.
Advise customers on the use of the Antenna Mobile Platform and tools.
Isolate defects where a hot-fix is necessary and work as the liaison between Product Engineering and the customer towards an acceptable solution.
Recommend and implement acceptable workarounds as necessary to address customer reported issues.
Thoroughly document details associated to each issue reported from customers.
Build reproducible environment, when necessary, to isolate customer reported issues.
Adhere to support processes and procedures for both customer and partners.
Require to work rotational shift-based schedules
Require to work weekend and holiday schedules
Minimum Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience in one or more of Java, .NET code using ASP VB and C# code.
Experience in J2EE development projects.
Experience in xCode and iPhone development a plus
Demonstrated ability to debug developer reported issue.
Proven track record in managing customer expectations.
Knowledge in configuring and supporting client/server infrastructure
Strong knowledge of network and systems administration
Demonstrated ability to confidently recommend solutions to problems reported from customers.
Demonstrated proficiency using and administering MS SQL and MySQL RDBMS platforms.
Prior experience supporting Windows Mobility 2003 and Windows CE operating systems a plus.
Experience working with mobility applications and devices a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast past software development environment.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Must be able to communicate assertively and make recommendations with confidence to provide clear direction to customers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret and correct technical information.
Demonstrated ability to compose clear and concise technical written communication
