The Lien Release Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance of daily operations, which includes the production of releases/reconveyces, check processing, file preparation and mail distribution. Responsibilities also include the recordation of satisfactions/reconveyances in compliance with county recording requirements.
? Manage day-to-day operations of the Lien Release department production team
? Manage and produce results in a production based environment
? Delegate workloads based on internal reporting measures
? Monitor workflow to ensure all timelines are being met
? Coaching and counseling staff
? Recommend and implement optimal staffing workloads and make changes as needed
? Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
? Review and monitor daily reports of overall production
? Maintain policies in procedures
? Conduct goal setting and annual reviews with direct reports
? Coordinate department meetings, schedule one-on-one interviews, organize team activities as needed
? Focus production efforts towards ensuring compliance is met based on internal/external regulations
? Delegate tasks effectively
? Review weekly and monthly reports for accuracy
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements)
? Ability to achieve business objectives through directing the work of others and self
? Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-volume work environment
? Strong organizational skills
? Ability to manage and set multiple priorites
? Ability to motivate and focus the attention of others and self
? Ability to analyze and resolve problems
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Analytical ability to resolve issues and develop policies/procedures
? Motivated self-starter that will assume leadership role and has ability to work independently
? In-depth understanding of recording guidelines, requirements, and regulatory statutes
? Knowledge of chain of title and various mortgage documents
Training and Experience
? 5 years of mortgage and/or title industry experience required
? 1-3 years supervisory experience required
? Experience with title curative, closing, post closing, and collateral documents
? Proficiency using MS Office applications
? Knowledge of the Fidelity system
