Be part of the excitement.
Great things are happening at Tilera. We are shipping products today with a scalable processor architecture based on a coherent mesh enabling us to put a virtually 'limitless' numbers of cores in a single chip, create scalable performance with the world's most efficient power consumption, all in a highly programmable solution based on industry standards such as, C/C++ and the Linux operating system.
Can you meet a challenge like developing a full-fledged Linux software distribution, downloadable from the CentOS website by this summer? If you can, we should talk.
We currently have an opening for a detail-oriented and quick moving Linux Build Software Engineer with the ability to work on a massive and highly complex system.
You must be able to build the system ? the kernel and user space packages, develop installation technology for our unique architecture, influence the CentOS community and create excitement for Tilera. But consider this, we care more about what you can accomplish and the results you?ve achieved than your number of years of experience.
Our goal is to be part of ?Fedora? software which is distributed by CentOS. You must be able to transition very quickly to owning packages, developing a standard installer, have tested software within the CentOS community to have ready for beta version distribution and later have it distributed widely through CentOS.
If this is the type of work that pumps you up every day, please contact us with your resume of achievements. You could even be a Linux ?hobbyist? and be great for the role if you can demonstrate relevant accomplishments and strengths.
Here are the basics we are looking for:
BS/MS in Computer Science
5 to 7 years Linux build software experience
C/C++ coding skills
