We are looking for a ?Linux Guru? to join our Software Engineering team with a strong background in operating system kernel development. We are looking for someone with a record of substantial contributions to architectural ports with features and performance optimizations. This is a kernel software engineer who has also contributed to major debugging and fixes in order to ship high quality software.
We?re seeking a talented aggressive Linux software engineer who ideally has the following:
Experience porting to new architectures, as well as architecture dependent components such as virtual memory system, scheduler, and networking stack
Strong understanding of hardware architecture including CPU, cache concepts, memory and I/O
Experience in parallel systems, including multi-core processors, SMP and NUMA architectures, or systems comprised of multiple processors and FPGAs/ASICS.
Exposure to open-source process, working with Linux community and submitting patches
Track record and interest in development tools, including application and low-level APIs and performance analysis tools.
Effective teamwork skills to work well with hardware, software, system architect, applications and marketing individuals.
