This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise and will be critical to building our next generation service offering.
Requirements
Expert level with RedHat, CentOS and other applicable distributions.
Expertise with Apache and other web servers.
Expertise with operational support of MySQL.
Extensive experience with scripting, including shell scripting, perl or other languages
Experience with supporting production web farms & applications
Experience with supporting 24/7 high availability environments
Virtualization & cloud experience (EC2)
Familiarity with security best practices
Responsibilities
Supporting the production environment.
Supporting the development teams and the development process
Monitoring and responding to alerts
Configuration management
Designing & writing automation scripts.
Working on virtualization projects including XEN, ESX or KVM
