This position will work directly with attorneys, paralegals, and the practice support group in determining needs, recommending strategy and implementing solutions for case management and trial preparation. Troubleshoot technical problems related to Practice Support software. Participate in trial prep including coordinating vendors, assisting with designation, coordinating graphic projects, providing database and other technical support. May work at the sole discretion of a specific client.
Consults with project managers and attorneys to determine litigation needs and support requirements, including anticipated document collections, e-discovery, etc.
All aspects of litigation support including training, administration, trouble shooting, user support, database management, case creation and management, license management, and user training.
Assist with all stages of litigation life cycle
Perform litigation support tasks as needed
Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
Three to five years of experience as a litigation support specialist or a paralegal in case management
Large-scale document production
Knowledge of various databases and other litigation support software; Summation, Concordance, Relativity, LAW, and other technologies and software packages
Certifications are a preferred
Excellent communication skills
Experience in development, use, and maintenance of litigation support applications and databases
Use of databases
Familiarity with all stages of discovery and trial preparation
Training of others
Handle multiple responsibilities
Will determine appropriate strategy with little supervison
