The Loan Resolution Specialist is responsible for resolving loan issues identified by the loan review process.
? Assess the loan review results to determine the scope of the loan deficiency; complete the issue set-up within Issue Tracker of the BOSS application
? Identify and execute the best course of action to bring the loan into a salable status and/or resolve issues that could cause a future loan repurchase
? Complete the loan resolution in a cost effective, efficient, and customer service solution
? Reduce financial and market risk through resolution and timely escalation of loan deficiencies
? Through the direct contact with branch, closing agent/attorney, title insurer, and/or borrower(s) obtain corrected or missing documentation
? Ensure the final loan documentation meets EverBank, purchasing investor, and agency salability requirements
? Update imaging and DBOR systems with final loan data to match the loan resolution documentation
? Validate and resolve compliance violations
? Perform at a level that meets or exceeds production requirements
? Employee must demonstrate an understanding of the sensitive and confidential nature of the information they work with in this position and must adhere to professional ethical standards.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
? Knowledge of conventional mortgages including: Conforming, ARM, Balloons, Jumbo, HELOC, Interest Only, Timely Payment, Coop, CEMA, etc.
? Knowledge of closing documents; Note, Mortgage, TIL, Title, HUD1, Right To Cancel, Insurance, Flood Determination, TAX Documents
? Knowledge of credit documents; Appraisal, 1008, 1003, AUS
? Ability to distinguish the difference between when a loan meets legal guidelines vs. when a loan meets salability guidelines
? Ability to analyze large amounts of information
? Ability to resolve complex issues
? Problem Solver with the ability to identify alternative solutions
? Self Finisher who can work with minimum supervision
? Must be able to work in a fast paced high volume work environment
? Must be flexible and able to change focus on a moments notice
? Must have a sense of urgency
? Strong organizational skills
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Team player

? Attention to detail
Training and Experience
? 5 Years mortgage banking experience with a minimum 3 years in a post closing environment
? 1 Year Mortgage Legal Review experience
? One year customer service or collections experience preferably within a phone center environment
? Proficiency using MS Office applications
? High School diploma or equivalent
